ArtCraft AI Studio
ArtCraft AI Studio: access, models and credits
ArtCraft AI Studio is a workspace for composing and generating images and video with AI models. Start from the official browser app or Studio desktop route. The open-source application and paid model generation have different cost and access conditions.
What ArtCraft AI Studio is
The Studio combines composition tools with model generation. You can prepare a canvas or scene, then use a model to create or revise the result. This is different from opening an image in PhotoCraft and directly changing its pixels, layers or text.
| Your intended operation | Studio route described in official guides | Decide before generating |
|---|---|---|
| Explore an image from a prompt | Text-to-image generation. | What subject, framing and output you want. |
| Keep a planned layout while generating | 2D canvas guidance or 3D scene composition. | Which structure must remain consistent. |
| Change a selected part of an image | Masks and inpainting. | The region allowed to change and the region to preserve. |
| Animate a still image | Image-to-video workflow. | The motion, duration and model appropriate to the job. |
These are documented workflows, not results produced by this site. We have not submitted a generation, compared models or tested a paid plan for this guide. For ordinary image editing, see what PhotoCraft does; for the broader application family, use the ArtCraft apps chooser.

ArtCraft AI access: browser, desktop and accounts
The official website offers a browser launch at app.getartcraft.com and a Studio desktop download route. The browser route is the Studio’s service; it is not this website’s separate basic editor. The desktop route is also different from installing PhotoCraft through ArtCraft Launcher.
| Route | Where to begin | Condition to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Official browser Studio | Launch the official browser app | The current sign-in flow, account balance and available model controls. |
| Official Studio desktop build | Studio website and download entry | Your operating system, published package and provider setup. |
| Source and development setup | storytold/artcraft README | The selected revision’s dependencies and configuration; this is a developer route. |
| PhotoCraft desktop editing instead | PhotoCraft packages | Whether you need local document editing rather than model generation. |
The checked Studio README points to Windows and macOS release routes and a source-build route including Linux. That does not establish a ready-made Studio installer for every platform. The Crafting Apps directory has separate platform labels and packages; do not transfer them to the Studio.
The public pricing page directs existing users to sign in to buy credit packs. It does not establish one identical account or provider-connection flow for every model and access mode. Read the prompts in the route you actually choose before supplying a credential or making a purchase. This guide records public documentation, not a signed-in account test.
Use the ArtCraft download decision guide if the product names or routes are unclear.

Models, providers and availability
The official model guide lists image families such as FLUX, Nano Banana, GPT Image and Seedream, alongside several video families. The Studio repository also describes provider integrations and flags some catalog entries as disabled or restricted. These lists describe integrations; they are not proof that every model is available to your account in every version.
Before selecting a model, inspect the current picker and its operation. An image-generation model, an image-editing model and a video model need different inputs and may have different output and credit limits. A familiar provider name alone does not identify which operation is supported.
| What to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| The exact model and provider | Similarly named versions can have different controls and outputs. |
| The operation and required inputs | A prompt-only task and a masked edit are different workflows. |
| Platform or availability labels | The README includes disabled and desktop-restricted entries. |
| Size, duration and credit quote | The cost of a request can depend on the requested output. |
| Your current account or provider connection | A catalog entry does not establish that this account can run it. |
For a first comparison, keep the input and requested output constant, then change one model choice. Record the model name and date with the result. That makes the comparison interpretable without assuming a large catalog guarantees useful output for your task.

Costs and credits: free software is a separate question
ArtCraft AI cost needs two checks: how you obtain the software and how the chosen model run is funded. Open-source application licensing does not supply unlimited model compute. The public pricing page offers subscriptions and one-time credit packs, while its footnote also describes using your own compute and third-party subscriptions.
| Published option on the checked pricing page | Published credit allocation | Check before paying |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | 1,000 credits per month | Selected billing cycle, checkout total and which generation you will run. |
| Pro | 3,750 credits per month | Whether the higher allocation matches your likely requests. |
| Max | 6,600 credits per month | The same output and request assumptions used in your budget. |
| One-time credit packs | Available to signed-in users; advertised as not expiring. | The pack amount, final price and applicable account terms. |
This is a 2026-10-13 snapshot, not a quotation for your checkout. The page displayed an offer and a billing-cycle selector. Compare the complete amount due, not just a monthly-equivalent headline. Confirm the current offer and terms on official pricing when deciding to buy.
For a simple budget, divide your available credits by the request’s displayed credit cost. If a request explicitly quotes 20 credits, a 1,000-credit balance would cover 50 such requests before other usage. That is arithmetic for a stated quote, not a claim that an ArtCraft model always costs 20 credits. Changing resolution, duration or model can change the request you are budgeting.
The checked public pages do not establish a universal free allowance for every new account. Verify any starter credits and their conditions in your account. “Free to start” should not be read as a promise of unlimited free generation, and a provider subscription may have its own fees or restrictions.
Where your images are processed
The composition workspace and the generation backend are different parts of the workflow. Official documentation describes canvas and scene tools together with model and provider integrations. A local application window or an open-source repository does not, by itself, establish that a particular generation stays entirely on your device.
Before using a private input, confirm the selected provider, what is sent for that operation and the applicable service terms. This documentation check did not establish a single retention period, training-use rule or processing location covering every provider and access mode. Treat those as questions for the actual service you choose, rather than borrowing a privacy statement from a different Crafting App.
For an evaluation, use a small image you own and are willing to submit, or suitable public-domain practice material. Keep the original separately. Check the generated output’s size and format, as well as the parts that were supposed to remain unchanged. A good-looking preview alone does not establish that the file is ready for delivery.
Our own basic browser editor performs a different set of local crop, color and text operations. It does not provide ArtCraft AI models, and using it does not test the Studio’s processing or billing. The privacy notice for this website describes this site’s behavior.

Plan a small AI Studio evaluation
- Pick one task. For example, change one background region while retaining the subject. Avoid changing the image, model and objective at the same time.
- Keep an input copy. Use material you have permission to process and record its dimensions.
- Record the route. Note browser or desktop, app version where available, model, provider and date.
- Read the request conditions. Check the shown size or duration, credit quote and account balance before starting.
- Save the result and settings. Keep the actual downloaded output, not just a screenshot of the preview.
- Judge the intended change. Inspect both the edited area and the area you wanted to preserve, then check the required delivery format.
This is our suggested evaluation method. No successful generation or paid-account result is claimed here. If the task is simply adding a title, cropping a photo or checking a layered file, begin with a PhotoCraft editing tutorial — Desktop walkthrough instead of assuming AI generation is required.
For installation and updates, use the Studio, Launcher and app download chooser. For development or a reproducible Studio problem, the repository map points to the appropriate project.
